Ducktown is a historic Tennessee town in the Copper Basin/Ocoee River region of the Southern Appalachians, just two hours from Atlanta, an hour and a half from Chattanooga, and just two and a half hours from Knoxville and Asheville. In '96, the Summer Olympic Whitewater Events were held on the nearby Ocoee River. Each of our guest rooms is furnished in period antiques and fine collectibles. We serve a full country breakfast each morning, and afterwards, you can relax on our rocking chair porch, or head out and explore Ducktown! There are many great things to do in the area - try one of the two excursion trains - The Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, from Blue Ridge, Georgia to Copperhill, Tennessee, and the new Tennessee Valley Railroad, from Etowah, Tennessee, along the Hiwassee River. You can explore the Ducktown Basin Mining Museum, our local antique shops and swap meets, and the Fields of the Wood Biblical Theme Park.
