Salt Ash Inn near Killington Vermont is a 3 diamond Vermont country inn. Conveniently located near Killington and Okemo Ski Areas in Calvin Coolidge's hometown of Plymouth, Vermont. This classic Vermont inn offers 18 uniquely decorated country style guest rooms (all with private baths, TV's and telephones). We offer warm common areas for lounging or reading, a wonderful English style Pub, beautiful grounds for strolling, sunbathing, swimming or relaxing in the hot tub and hearty country cuisine for your dining pleasure.
The guest rooms at the inn have names significant to the inn and the area. All guest rooms differ somewhat from each other. 17 of the18 rooms have at least, a queen size bed, and all 18 rooms have their own private bathrooms!! THINGS TO DO IN WINTER
We’re the closest historic inn to the slopes - We’re only 6 miles from the high-speed, heated Skyship gondola (complete with sound system)! The new and improved gondola base has early morning opening (make first tracks!), new ski shop, restaurant and parking. We are only 8 miles to Bear Mountain - use either of these entrances and avoid the access road traffic jam! (The main Killington entrance is still only 12 miles away!)
Killington has 1182 skiable acres, 200 trails over 7 interconnected mountains with 32 lifts, and the greatest vertical descent in New England. Plus, wooded Fusion Zones, Alpine Parks & Mini Parks! With 66 miles of snowmaking, Killington makes more snow than any resort in the world.

NIGHTLY RATE RANGE BY ROOM TYPE All rooms have private bathrooms, color TV's, telephones, hair dryers and clock radios! All of our rooms, (except for just 1) have queen beds, and some have additional twin beds in them. Rates are for two people in the room (not per person!). Additional people in the rooms are charged at a lower rate.

POLICIES
Deposit:
An advanced deposit of 50%, (Full amount for 1-Night Reservations) will guarantee your lodging for specific dates.
Cancellations:
Your deposit guarantees us that you will be here, and that we will hold the room for you! Arriving after your scheduled arrival date, or departing before your scheduled departure date will cause forfeiture of your deposit. There is a $25.00 cancellation fee on ALL cancelled reservations. Deposits are cheerfully refunded with 14 days advanced notice. No deposit refunds under 14 days!
Check-In:
4PM - 10PM. Early check-in can generally be arranged at no charge, but with advanced notice. If you are arriving after 10pm, you must make special arrangements to check-in or your reservation will be canceled (and you will forfeit your deposit!). We don't have an all night staff and we need to give you directions to your room if you are getting here after we go to bed!

Before 11AM, and late check-out can often be arranged at an additional charge

Smoking:
Due to Vermont law, the inn is now completely non-smoking.
