Lake Escape Lodge sits on the banks of lovely Lake Macquarie in New South Wales - the largest coastal lake in Australia. Our lakeside resort it quiet, private, and peaceful.

Each of our guest rooms offers a king- or queen-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a large balcony with great Lake Macquarie views. The property also has a guest lounge where you can relax and meet other quests, with a widescreen television, and a dining area/kitchenette.

All rooms have a/c to keep you cool during the warm summers, as well as a reading/writing table with comfortable chairs and picture windows so you can enjoy the great lake views.

Our lodge was built for the discerning traveler, and the entire upper floor is for guest use.

There are many great outdoor activies available in the Lake Macquarie area, including romantic strolls along the lakeshore, bird watching from your balcony (pelicans, Kookaburras, Ibis, parrots and more), and the local National Park, where you can feed hundreds of kangaroos by hand.

We're also close to golf courses, clubs, and restaurants, and the Hunter vineyards, historic Newcastle, and some great Australian beaches.Beautiful lakeside walks in the national park where you can feed the kangaroos.
