The Inn is an 1886 luxurious Victorian townhouse (formerly owned by astrologer Jeanne Dixon, for 40 years) with soaring 12-foot high ceilings, bay and Queen Anne windows, white marble and cherry pine hardwood floors, original tile fireplaces and other architectural treats, and a private walled rear garden. It offers a:
* Gracious dining room for sumptuous breakfasts with crepes, omelets, baked salmon, honey roasted ham, imported cheeses, melons and berries, homemade breads and cakes, yogurt, cereals, organic-fair traded coffees and a wide assortment of herbal and English teas. Invite your friends, family or colleagues to join you for breakfast, as our guests! Coffee is ready 6:30 every morning for early risersthough most rooms have coffee machines as well. And choose from our teas throughout the day.
* Solariumenclosed, heated and air conditionedfor those who choose to breakfast overlooking the garden, year round.
* Front salon with an 1879 rosewood carved Steinway concert grand piano (guests are invited to play). We know of two others - one in New York's Metropolitan Museum, and the other in the Smithsonian. The room is yours to enjoy--read a book, invite friends over, or sip wine in the evening.
* Blazing fire in the salon all fall and winter (just the right thing with which to enjoy your coffee and wine).
* Complimentary red and white wine all evening long.
* Fax, scanner and copy machine, as well as laundry facilities.

Transport We are a half block from the Dupont Circle metro (a 10-minute ride to Union Station and 25-30 minutes to Reagan National Airport). Taxis are available at all times. We offer parking for $17 a day/night to which you have 24-hour access, which must be reserved when you book your room, since space is limited. If our spaces are full, other parking garages are nearby.

As a small guesthouse, you are liable for your room bill if you cancel do not give the Inn one week's notice. No refunds or adjustments (except to lengthen your stay, if space permits), after you arrive.
