Your private terrace or patio is in tune with the natural habitat and you may easily see native iguanas, donkeys, parakeets and chibichibi birds. Associated with lodging and accommodations, the word "bungalow" is an English word taken from more eastern cultures meaning a one-storied house with a veranda.
Happy Holiday Homes are located at Punt Vierkant on the southwest coast of Bonaire in the quiet the area of Belnem on the leeward side of the island. We are in the countryside situated in a triangle of land between the mainroad and seaside lane. The mainroad will lead you to the Salt flats and the slave huts and all the southern scubadive sites.
Our famous pink Flamingo's and other magnificent island birds contrast strikingly with blue skies and caribbean water. Bonaire's incredible underwater beauty is a another spectacular attraction that brings guests to our accommodations at Happy Holiday Homes and this wonderful island. Bicycling the island is a favorite land sport, as well as simply enjoying the serenity and warm breezes.
Our comfortable, air-conditioned bungalows are located in a quiet countryside neighborhood. The oceanside is close by, with two beaches within easy walking distance.
There's lots of space: you'll never feel crowded, even if you have lots of gear to store.
Great Accommodations
Depending on the size of your party, you'll choose from our one, two or three bedroom accommodations. Each has a seperate living room with cable television, radio, and a safe for valuables.
You'll enjoy meals in the dining area and the kitchen, which comes fully equipped with refrigerator, range, microwave, and a full set of utensils and dishes. If you'd like, we can arrange to have your kitchen stocked with basic grioceries. Each bungalow has its own outdoor barbeque grill for outdoor cooking.
We offer self-serve laundry facilities right on our premises. Our electrical power is 110 VAC/50 cycles and 220 VAC. U.S. appliances and accessories work without the need for an adapter, but items with a timer (like an alarm clock) can use our 50-cycle power however they will run too slow to show the proper time.
Outdoors, you'll relax in the peaceful beauty of your own private garden, where you can watch iguanas, parakeets and our wild donkeys. There is a covered patio if you prefer to relax in the shade, and also a sun terrace with chaise lounge.

The warm hospitality of the owners for the past 15 years, Louise and Mel, will make you feel right at home and will be glad to chat with you in English, Dutch, Spanish, German, Papiamentu (the local language) or perhaps in French. Deposit:
A 25% deposit is required at least 30 days before your arrival date.
Cancellations:
Reservations will be penalized 50% of the deposit if cancelled within 60 days of arrival.
