| " EXECUTIVE SELF-CATERING SUITES IN LADNER, BC " The Handford House sits at the gateway between Victoria and Vancouver, and is ideal for executives and business travelers visiting the area. We're just twenty minutes from Vancouver International Airport and half an hour from downtown Vancouver. We're also just ten minutes from the BC Ferries Tsawwassen terminal, where you can catch a ferry to Victoria, Salt Spring Island, and other destinations along the Georgia Sound. Ladner is a historic fishing village on the delta, at the front door of British Columbia's busiest economic center. Handford House is an elegant heritage home, filled with historic touches like crown mouldings and stained glass highlights. We're the perfect base for exploring Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Our Fraser Suite is on the main floor of a newly renovated Craftsmen’s style house, originally built in the early 1900's. It features a big picture window in the living area that overlooks Ladner’s main street. It also has a modern kitchen with seating for four that opens to the rear entrance and into the dinning room / parlour room. The bedroom has a queen size bed, under an antique stained glass window. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a queen size bed for extra people, and there's an ensuite bathroom behind the kitchen. Our Heritage Suite is on the upper floor of the Handford House, and we've restored it as well. This one bedroom suite has a living room, ensuite bathroom, a complete kitchen and a private balcony with views over Memorial Park. The Heritage Suite is ideal for a family or group of friends, with a sofa that converts into a queen size bed and an additional day bed. We can also transform the Fraser Suite into a traditional executive meeting room or dining area seating 12 or more. We can also provide audio and visual technology to make the room into a training facility for up to 20 people. Outside, our expansive gardens are ideal for a summer garden party or wedding.
